A Writing Update (A Very Positive One)

See this baby? See? With my name on it and all. I didn't want to talk about it before it was officially announced, but editor extraordinaire David Cranmer has revealed the cover of BEAT TO A PULP: HARDBOILED this week-end and it's with great pride that I announce you I am a part of the project. It's kind of the big leagues of short crime fiction, so I'm pumped about this. Since I am very superstitious about it, I will not talk about my story yet. I rather let you discover it when the anthology is going to come out. BEAT TO A PULP: HARDBOILED is an eBook that should be available in November.

But that's not all. I will be Mr. Busy Writer before the end of 2011. Remember my story UNDER THE GAZE OF SATURN that I wrote for the Lost Children contest? Well, this will be part of the official contest anthology that's also coming this November. I am also a last minute addition to Luca Veste's OFF THE RECORD anthology, where every story is inspired by a classic song.

Last but not least, I had good news this morning. BURNING, the first of (hopefully) many Lowell Sweeney stories have been accepted for publication. I will not tell you where and when right now (I'm a drama queen, I know) but I will tell you a little bit about Lowell. He's a cocky, partying, debonaire blue-chip cop that hits a wall very hard. Because you can't always get away with everything in life. That's it. I will say no more until BURNING is published...

...and I still have more material in submission, so who knows? Maybe I'll have more good news to share in the next few weeks?
