"Burning" the first Lowell Sweeney story is in the new edition of Pulp Metal Magazine

I've been working on this for a few months now and I am happy to announce that BURNING, the first Lowell Sweeney has been published in the new edition of Pulp Metal Magazine, which went live today. Lowell is a young and driven policeman, who's addictive personality and excessive nature catch up to. BURNING is his first experience with failure and it's a memorable one. Pulp Metal is a die hard unit that publishes the most fearless and atypical stuff on the internet. Not that I think that they would have been the only ones that could've published a Lowell Sweeney story, but I am proud to kick off this new character with a creative juggernaut of a magazine. Thanks to editor Jason Michel for taking a chance on this project.

That said, this edition of Pulp Metal is full of goodies you shouldn't miss. The godfather of contemporary noir community Paul D. Brazill has an interview with Julia Madeleine up, as well as a column. Dead End Follies nominee for short story of the year Heath Lowrance has a new story up - THE WORLD IS MADE OF CANDY, as well as the always wild and disturbing Kent Gowran, who's prose has a similar flavor to Takashi Miike's movies sometimes.  His story is called SEA LEGS. The brutal Richard Godwin is also part of this month's edition with MAPLE SUMMER. All those stories are available in November's edition of Pulp Metal and it's FREE! Just follow the link.
