Dead End Follies Awards 2012 - Best Non-Fiction Book

I read tons of fiction. I love it, because it's something you can invest myself in viscerally and also because it's an art medium that doesn't offer obvious answers, so it's stimulating to me. Non-Fiction is a different animal. It deals with facts and opinions, so the writer's style and approach are of the utmost importance. So why read Non-Fiction? That's a funny question, because usually, I'm asked about the opposite. Well, because human beings are fascinating and don't always need a fictional setting to create stories.
