Announcement : Gabino Iglesias is joining Dead End Follies!

Six years ago, I've started this blog as a way to voice my personal opinions on things I read, watched and experienced in general. It has gone quite a long way since, became somewhat of a cult favorite in the genre fiction/dark literary scene and while I've had a lot of pleasure writing, coming up with daily content has turned into somewhat of a grind over the last two years and I feel it affected the quality of what I was offering you.

So, I am glad to announce that the best free agent in the book reviewing game is taking his talents to Dead End Follies in 2016! If you were already doing business with Gabino already, let me reassure you. He has accepted a contributor position, so he's going to come and go as he pleases. He will review books, movies, write essays, whatever he feels like, whenever he feels like. Gabino now has a room in hotel Dead End Follies and he have absolute faith that you will fall in love with his writing.

Gabino has this to say about joining the blog: "Benoît is one of the sharpest, most committed reviewers in the game and Dead End Follies is the kind of place that offers great reviews regardless of genre and shows a lot of love to indie presses. I'm happy to be joining him and look forward to whatever literary madness 2016 brings."

It's a new day for Dead End Follies and passion is the new keyword for 2016.There might be slightly less content, but there will be twice as many passionate people working on the pieces and hopefully twice as much passion in every piece. So that's it, that was the big surprise I had in store for #GabinoMania and I hope you're as stoked for it as I am, because I'm pretty fucking stoked! Stay tuned, though, the Gabino Iglesias extravaganza is not over yet! I still have something in store for you guys tomorrow!
