What are you looking for, homie?

Happy New Year!

It's (almost) 2012. I'm going to celebrate in Josie's family in a few hours, but I have time to offer you a few wishes. Have you ever been in a New Year's Eve party and got face to face with someone you didn't know that well and had to exchange wishes and vows for the New Year? Hard, isn't it? You look at each other, hesitate and babble a few banalities before moving to the next awkward moment. I worked a series of universal wishes that will get me through most situations. They are two simple wishes, but let me offer you my extended version (with explanations, which I cannot do during a NYE party). Here are my wishes to you, dear readers. So we can have another successful year together.

Health...May you have a healthy year, sheltered from sickness. Fighting for your own health or for the health of a loved one is a demanding demon. It takes all the place, chomps down on your energy and your mood. May you be spared any serious ill.

Purpose...If you haven't already. May you find a purpose that will make your life more intense and flavorful. May you decide to write a book, run a successful web site, start competitive sports or challenge yourself in any way. May you find a purpose that will  give you something to believe in and drive you far off your comfort zone and from any feelings of complacency.

Success...May your purpose, your passion and your drive lead you to financial gain and social recognition. I'm not wishing you all to become superstars, but to be recognized at what you do, at what you like to do and find a community that appreciate who for who you are and what drives you. We all deserve at least a little success for what we do.

Happy New Year, dear Readers. May you have health, purpose and success in 2012.
