This came out a few week ago, but I barely mentioned it. DRUNK ON THE MOON 2 is out, folks and I'm part of the writers' lineup, alongside Vincent Zandri, Matt Hilton, Chad Eagleton, Ben Sobieck and the inimitable Mr. Brazill himself. If you don't remember what DRUNK ON THE MOON is, read my review of the first volume. It's hardboiled/horror/fantasy series centered around werewolf/P.I Roman Dalton. I was so enthusiastic about it that I asked PDB for a slot in an eventual sequel and he granted it to me.
I'm proud of this story for two reasons. First, I'm featured alongside household names like Zandri and Hilton. These guys are huge and it's nice to ride their coattails for a short moment. Also, my short NIGHT OF THE LONG KNIVES is my longest published work, by far, clocking a little bit over five thousand words. In this adventure, Roman is secluding himself in the woods after committing something terrible, but trouble seems to find him wherever he goes and it also seems to remind him he's fighting for the good guys.
